Crayon Roll

I’ve seen these crayon rolls on a few different blogs and finally got around to making one myself. It was really simple and quick. It rolls up nice and neat and seems perfect for throwing in the diaper bag for trips or church. Kate still doesn’t quite understand how to “color” but today she liked pulling each crayon out of its slot and trying to put it back in. It’s also a great way to use up scrap fabric. I used this tutorial.

I love the soft blue ric rac with the bold read fabric. It turned out great! I've missed a few post and I love Kate's little dress! So adorable! I love polka dots! I'll have to try that pattern.
To your question, I kinda used the pattern for the Easter dresses I made, but tweaked it to be a shirt with ruffles. Wouldn't it be great if we lived near one another and could share patterns. Lots of money would be saved for sure!

Ha! I was just collecting spare quilting squares for bean bags and thinking about the crayon roll! You are one step ahead, my friend!

So fun to hang around with you guys!
