Tutu

I’m lucky to be staying with my parents this week. My mom doesn’t have a sewing machine, but I wanted a few projects to keep myself busy. I came up with this tutu, which requires no sewing at all. It’s very simple and quick. I saw this description here and figured the rest out on my own. I used 2 yards of tulle which was fine, I maybe could have used a little more. Now Kate waddles around like a little fairy talking on “her phone”.

I just barely saw this...so so CUTE! I have tried to sew tulle and it just gets messy. This looks so simple and perfect. Thanks for sharing such a great tutorial find. And Kate is precious by the way.

These are so fun. My MIL and I made these for my nieces. It was a great car project since we just knotted the tulle around the elastic band. One other fun thing we did was tied some little beads to the ends of some of the strips. The girls love playing dress-up with them.

I am curious if you were able to use your ruffler for this. I think it's the greatest sewing accessory. Sewing is so fun--glad you are so into it!
